Unique keywords would strike to the SERPS?

In terms of search engine marketing, keywords are made to compete into the top search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. I want to have my own site which is about the tech gadgets, and I have finalized my own domain name which is my passion, the bogartkick.com. I'm going to buy that domain soon, and Daniel was impressed because of it's uniqueness. Just like other search optimising blogs like zacjohnson.com and 5staraffiliates, they have unique names which is their passion in the first place. And I think I'm contented with the bogartkick.com, because this is what I used for my Yahoo since 2007 until now, which came from a spoofed 300 movie that was converted into a funny accent of our language. But still, I must rely on the keywords which are low competitive than the others, because it gives me a chance to rank high in the SERPS when searching that keyword.
