Leaderboards are more potential than footers

Most advertisers usually target the leaderboard space than footers. Why? Every time a visitor checks out the website, the leaderboard was the first to be seen rather than the footer which needs to be scrolled down once and for all. In my own forex blog, which is the Bogart’s Forex World, I have put my Clickbank ad as a leaderboard below the title of the site. I have not yet finished the contents of the site, that’s why most commentors said that there is a large portion which was not yet occupied, and the only way to do it is to add more contents until the blank portion of my blog will be filled. Going back to the leaderboard, it signifies as the leader ad of the blog or website and it’s more potential to be clicked rather than the footer ads. Believe me, I advertised with the other users of their website as leaderboard which the size is 728 x 90 or 468 x 60. It’s one way to attract the visitors to keep checking out the sites in my leaderboard while I’m doing SEO.
